My News!

Due to the nature of hypnotherapy and mindfulness, a lot of what I do remains confidential. However, whenever I can, I like to share what's been going on in 'Rachel's world'. My work in group mindfulness and tutoring lends itself more to sharing than 1:1 hypnotherapy or mindfulness sessions, so many of the posts you'll see here are to do with that. But that doesn't mean that the private 1:1s aren't going on. It's just that I take the confidentiality of my clients very seriously.
Thanks for dropping by!

Fun times!

Once again, October was a very busy month!

The first of the month was supervision day! All qualified hypnotherapists have to undergo Clinical Supervision a number of times each year, where we are mentored by a supervisor and peer group. This is always really useful and hypnotherapists attend from all over the UK. It’s a great way to share good practice.

A week later I was involved in delivering a couple of mindfulness workshops to teenagers involved in The National Citizenship Service – Powered By The Challenge event in Birmingham. This is a hugely successful event with literally hundreds of young people involved. The organisation was fantastic and I felt it was great that they wanted to get mindfulness onto the agenda with this age group!

Another week later saw the start of our Mindfulness Teacher Training modules taking place at the weekends. Due to popular demand, our weekday modules become heavily oversubscribed and the weekend option has proved to be very popular too. I love being a tutor on this course.
And then there were all the usual things like the mindfulness group held every Wednesday evening at Central England Therapy Centre, and all the 1 to 1 hypnotherapy clients seen during the day.

I’m looking forward to another busy month in November!
