Due to the nature of hypnotherapy and mindfulness, a lot of what I do remains confidential. However, whenever I can, I like to share what's been going on in 'Rachel's world'. My work in group mindfulness and tutoring lends itself more to sharing than 1:1 hypnotherapy or mindfulness sessions, so many of the posts you'll see here are to do with that. But that doesn't mean that the private 1:1s aren't going on. It's just that I take the confidentiality of my clients very seriously.

An interesting week again.

The last week or so has been really interesting, as always, helping people of all ages with issues such as weight management, habit control, lack of confidence, Quit 4 Life smoking cessation, hypnobirthing, stress, and depression. It's always amazing for me to see that, even though people come to see me with similar issues, the triggers for these issues (and therefore the solutions) are always very different. I rely on a thorough pre-therapy assessment which is essential in order to provide a truly client-centred approach - then I can be confident in offering techniques that are tailor-made for that particular individual.

I really do love what I do. Often results happen staggeringly quickly. While in other cases, it might take a little longer to establish the true nature of a presenting issue. However, I'm always amazed at how powerful our own minds really are.
