All the usual things like seeing clients for one to one hypnotherapy and helping to run our regular mindfulness groups at Central England College, and Mindfulness Teacher Training. But also, in November, I gave a talk to a peer support group run by the National Council for Hypnotherapy - I talked about how mindfulness can be used within hypnotherapy to help clients who may be suffering with anxiety and/or depression. It was received very well, and obviously many hypnotherapists already incorporate elements of mindfulness within their work.
And a change to my practice that's also happened in the last few weeks is that I can now offer recordings of sessions via Dropbox - this is invaluable to many of my clients as they no longer have the wherewithal to play cds (this makes me feel very old)! All i have to do is upload the recording and send them the link. They then simply download the file to either their computer or phone. Thumbs up all round!
It's great to have heard back from a few of my clients who came to see me in the last 12 months or so. Some of them got in touch just before Christmas to tell me what a difference the hypnotherapy had made to their lives. This is great to know, and thanks to those people.
2017 is looking good so far but, as with so many things in life, you never can tell if they'll work out in quite the way you imagine. I'm very excited all the same so watch this space!
Happy New Year :)
