What does the RMB stand for?
First of all, they stand for a simple way of remembering a process:
R = Relax your body
M = Modify your thoughts
B = Benefit as a result
R - Relax your body
The first step in overcoming any sort of issue is simply to have a few quiet minutes to yourself. How many times have you heard people say "...and breathe..." after they have had to face a particularly stressful or busy time? It would perhaps be more beneficial to do this first! When you give yourself a little time (even as little as two or three minutes) just to be you, you may notice that your perception of things changes a little.
M = Modify your thoughts
When you're in a state of relaxation, it's much easier to see things differently. When coupled with relaxation, your imagination is an extremely powerful thing. Changing the way you perceive things, and how you feel about things, can give you a sense of being more in control, being more optimistic, being more motivated - all good things if you're wanting to make a change of some sort.
B = Benefit as a result
This whole process of relaxation and changing thought patterns may provide many benefits. Hypnotherapy has been shown to work safely, quickly and effectively on many types of issue. Mindfulness too has been shown to be an effective way to deal with a variety of issues.

Again, I often hear people say things like "I wish I didn't go from one extreme to the other... I wish I could find some sort of balance." The techniques I offer may help you to regain some sort of balance when facing the trials and tribulations we all face daily.
