Mid-week Mindfulness - Important Information Before Joining
Mindfulness can be a really helpful way of supporting our wellbeing and, for most people, it is a safe and gentle practice.
During the sessions, I'll guide you through a variety of mindfulness practices. Please look after yourself and only take part in ways that feel comfortable and appropriate for you. You're always welcome to adjust or stop a practice if you need to.
If you have a serious mental or physical health condition, please check with your GP or appropriate healthcare professional before taking part. If you have epilepsy, or breathing difficulties such as asthma, you are welcome to join as long as your condition is well controlled medically.
Please also get in touch with me before joining if you're currently going through, or have recently experienced, a particularly difficult or traumatic time — perhaps a bereavement, separation, serious illness or another major life event. Mindfulness can sometimes bring thoughts and feelings more clearly into our awareness, so we can consider together whether this is a good time for you to take part.
These sessions are designed to support wellbeing and are not a substitute for therapy, medical care or other professional treatment.
If you're currently feeling extremely low, are self-harming or experiencing serious suicidal thoughts, these sessions aren't designed to provide the level of support you may need at the moment. Please seek appropriate professional help instead.
If you're unsure about anything, please feel free to contact me before joining.
